It is often said that pets, especially dogs, resemble their owners, and now science agrees. Michael Roy at the University of California, San Diego decided to test the theory by attending three random dog parks. He took separate photos of dogs and their owners then showed several groups of people and made them suitable for pets with their owners. The majority of the participants had the right matches. Some similar studies involve people who look like their dog with similar results, although they found it only works with purebred breed dogs. And while the difference is sometimes based on appearance (women with long hair have long-haired pet dogs), there are also more subtle traits that humans and their dogs share.
If you need more evidence, animal photographer Gerrard Gethings is commissioned by Laurence King Publishing to shoot 25 pairs of owners and their dogs for the game named Do You Look Like Your Dog?: Matching Dogs To Their Humans: A Memory Game. Each image he took confirms the hypothesis that dogs really look like their owners. So with that in mind, this is a collection of pet owners and their doggos look the same
