Hewlett’s unforgettable graphic FX captured the tattoo renderings immediately, and since then, the Gorillaz tattoo has enjoyed unending popularity in its many incarnations. The long-running tattoo animation includes the band’s core animated members: Stuart “2-D” Pot (vocals and keyboards), Murdoc Niccals (bass guitar), Russell Hobbs (percussion) and Noodle (lead guitar ), and from there the tattoo design incorporates some background settings and song lyrics.
