India’s Chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav was man of the match with three wickets in Sri Lanka’s ODI on Friday.

KL Rahul’s unbeaten half-century helped India beat Sri Lanka by four wickets in the second ODI on Thursday to take a 2-0 lead in the three-match series, behind excellent bowling from Mohammad Siraj and Kuldeep Yadav. (PTI)

Kuldeep Yadav bowled 10 overs in this match, in which he conceded 51 runs and took 3 wickets. He had the support of Kushal Mendis, Aslanka and Dasun Shankar. He was adjudged Man of the Match for this performance. (PTI)

Kuldeep became Team India’s number one batsman with three wickets in this match. Kuldeep is the Indian batsman who has taken the most ODI wickets since his debut. (PTI)

Kuldeep made his ODI debut against West Indies on June 23, 2017. Since then, he has played 73 ODI matches, in which he took 122 wickets. He has the highest number of catches in the last 66 months. Yuzvendra Chahal is second with 113 wickets and Jasprit Bumrah is third with 99 wickets. (PTI)

Kuldeep Yadav suffered a long-term injury. He said after Thursday’s game this return was important for him. They are not afraid of being abandoned. If the team gives him a chance, he will give a hundred percent on the field. (PTI)
