Chris Pratt Takes on Alien Invaders in Amazon’s ‘The Tomorrow War’ 2023

Tomorrow’s battle is Amazon’s next big sci-fi series starring the adorable Chris Pratt. New from solving dinosaurs in Jurassic Park franchise, Pratt is now facing off against alien invaders in this time travel adventure.

As Amazon’s official synopsis details below, Pratt travels from the future to warn of an alien invasion.

In “The War of Tomorrow,” the world is stunned when a time-traveling group arrives from the year 2051 to deliver an urgent message: Thirty years later, humanity will lose the global war against a new species. deadly alien.

The only hope of survival is for soldiers and civilians from the present to be transported to the future and join the fight. Among the recruits is high school teacher and family man Dan Forester (Chris Pratt). Determined to save the world for his young daughter, Dan teams up with a brilliant scientist (Yvonne Strahovski) and his estranged father (J.K. Simmons) on a desperate mission to rewrite the fate of planet.

While the trailer doesn’t reveal much, this looks like another win for Amazon. Plus, anything with Pratt is sure to be good.

Directed by Chris McKay (The Lego Batman Movie) from a script by Zach Dean (24 hours to live), the alien film also stars Betty Gilpin, Sam Richardson, Edwin Hodge, Jasmine Mathews, Ryan Kiera Armstrong and Keith Powers along with Pratt, Strahovski and Simmons.

Tomorrow’s battle launches Amazon Prime Video on July 2, 2021.
