Below Deck Down Under’s Captain Jason reveals which actors he still talks to 2023

For those wondering, Captain Jason Chambers of Below Deck Down Under is still in touch with both the Season 1 and Season 2 crew.

Season 2 of Below Deck Down Under had a lot of actors going in and out of the yacht, probably due to the layoff process.

Captain Jason Chambers nearly broke a franchise record after terminating three different crew members for reasons ranging from trouble docking to sexual misconduct.

With so many stars to start with and then a replacement team to learn about, it’s surprising how even viewers can keep up with them all.

However, it seems like the captain has actually found a way to form a strong bond with the Season 2 stars.

Who does Captain Jason of Below Deck Down Under talk to?

On October 1, Captain Jason spoke to TV Insider about the second season and whether or not he can keep up with his crew.

He explained, “I talked to Margot maybe a week ago. I talked to the Tzarina [Mace-Ralph] also. Harry [van Vliet] and Culver [Bradbury]. I caught up with them.”

Season 2 does not have the exact same cast as the first season of the series. Luckily, though, the captain hasn’t forgotten about the OG crew, even the one he wasn’t particularly fond of on screen.

Jason said, “I still talk to Ben [Crawley] and Jamie [Sayed] also from season 1. I even talked to chef Ryan [James] not too long ago. We have our differences, but we are all still on the same page and know that things are coming from a good place.”

Strangely, the captain did not mention his current conversation with Chief Flight Attendant Aesha Scott. However, with their on-screen fan-favorite friendship, perhaps he thought it was only natural that the two would still keep in touch.
