Nas EBK was arrested

According to multiple media reports, Nas EBK has been detained and charged with assassinating the man in the Times Square shooting. This incident happened in February. According to reports, on Friday, March 10, 2023, the Bronx rapper was arrested in New Jersey and later returned to Midtown for detention. Reports say the rapper was allegedly involved in an altercation with a patient on February 9, 2023 at the very public corner of 44th Street and 8th Avenue in Times Square. The altercation reportedly got heated with the rapper and he allegedly shot the victim.

The bullet hit the victim’s right chest, seriously injuring him. The victim was identified as Idressa Siby, 22 years old. The report added that Siby tried to run away but then fell down a block at Chick-fil-A. Multiple attempts to recover him at the scene proved futile and he later succumbed to his injuries at Mt. Sinai West. The police prosecuted the case and confirmed that the two knew each other and that the victim was indeed the intended target. Level 2 charges were made against him. However, the rapper has maintained his innocence, posting on his social media account the day of his arrest along with a post that read “Innocent.”

He added in the caption that “No one has the right to judge me, only God can! Come home soon!! Let you all be free!!” The rapper’s arrest comes just weeks after Nas EBK was charged with terroristic threats and assault over a YouTube prank video filmed at a local grocery store, the report said.
