YouTube has just confirmed that it has temporarily removed video monetization from SSSniperwolf’s channel as punishment for Jacksfilms’ doxxing incident.

Back on October 17, 2023, YouTuber Jacksfilms called on the platform not to take action against reaction video creator SSSniperwolf after the creator allegedly defrauded Jacksfilms on her Instagram Story .

Other creators quickly began joining the conversation, with Asmongold, Pokimane, and MoistCr1TiKal standing up against the doxxing incident.

Now, YouTube has confirmed on Twitter that her monetization has been affected on the platform – but people aren’t happy with the outcome.

YouTube “temporarily” disabled SSSniperwolf’s monetization feature

Sharing in a tweet on October 20, YouTube confirmed that it had “temporarily” disabled the female YouTuber’s monetization feature.

“Confirmed SSSniperWolf has been temporarily paused from monetization in accordance with the Creator Responsibility policy. Off-platform actions that jeopardize the personal safety of others harm our community, and behavior on both sides is not what we want on YT. I hope everyone will help take this convoy to a better place,” they said.

Users quickly took to the comments section to share their thoughts — and almost no one was happy with the fact that it was only temporary.

“Behavior of both sides??? Clearly someone is being targeted and hurt here, it’s Jacksfilms! What a ridiculous statement,” one user replied.

Another said: “The punishment literally does not fit the crime. Stop playing favorites and being deliberately confusing.”

A third commented: “Temporarily? So YouTube’s official response is that we can hit people once every X weeks, where X is determined by how much the YouTube team charges them?”
