Leigh’s sales career

In 1995, Sales joined Brisbane’s ABC broadcaster. This is her first job since graduating from college. She had the opportunity to cover the state elections in 1999 as well as in 2007. Since 2007, Leigh has published her first book titled ‘Detainee 002: The David Hicks Case’, with the help of Melbourne University Press. The book tells the story of Mister Hicks but also explains in detail the Bush administration’s detention policy during the War on Terror and covers the cooperation of the Australian government. Not stopping there, in 2009, she continued to write and publish her second book called “Doubt”. In 2017, the second edition of the book was published with a new chapter added which mentioned US President Donald Trump and his presidency.
