Below Deck Med fans were disappointed when the kids of the annoying rental car guests dominated the episode 2023

Fans of Below Deck Med Season 8 are expecting an episode about the crew and not about the kids they have to work with.

While the highlight of each Below Deck Mediterranean is the drama that unfolds between crew members, the charter guests and their antics always come a close second.

Most of the moments with the charter guests on screen were heartfelt and funny, but in Season 8 it took a turn for the worst. Captain Sandy Yawn even threatened to kick someone off the yacht.

In Episode 6, a loving family and their young children became the next guests on the ship. Instead of focusing on the adult guests, or the Tumi & Nat chaos that was still going strong, the kids on the boat stole the spotlight.

Did fans enjoy the children’s episode Below Deck Med Season 8?

The entire sixth episode revolves around Roy Orbinson Jr.’s adorable kids. and what the crew did to support them. From Nat Scudder & Jack Luby coordinating the pizza making party to the kids playing on docked jetskis, the entire episode focuses on the famous singer’s kids.

Viewers quickly took to Reddit to discuss the lackluster episode and ultimately criticized the child-centric episode.

“I feel bad saying this because kids are just kids, but I’m always annoyed with kids on boats,” one fan wrote. I want to see messy guests.”

Another fan wrote: “The kids are so cute, a bit obnoxious but yes there is so much attention for them.”

For the sake of viewers and their well-being while watching the show, hopefully this will be the only child-focused episode of the season.
