Recent news comes from Chelsea, where news of Wesley Fofana’s injury has appeared on social media platforms as the star suffered a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament. It is reported that the soccer star from Chelsea has ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament and the defender will need surgery. The 22-year-old defender did not travel with the rest of his team-mates as they endured a pre-season tour of the United States, followed by a knee injury he suffered. In recent seasons, Fofana has been extremely unfortunate with injury problems. In the summer of 2021, while playing a friendly match for former club Leicester City against Villarreal, Fofana broke his leg and had to miss more than 7 months. The France international returned in March 2022 and played the remaining season for the Foaxes before moving to Chelsea for 80 million Euros a few months later.
