Working in public can bring confidence that needs to be built over many years before doing so.
But when you finally get there and ease up on your routine, the gym experience isn’t so bad.
However, when two fitness influencers recently mocked a man’s habits, his entire ‘freedom’ of going to the gym was stolen from under his feet.
The women who belittled the man later faced their own backlash after uploading the video to TikTok.
Fitness influencers call man at gym “weird” for his workout routine while laughing maniacally
Fitness influencers Berna and Debora were working out at the gym when a man nearby had a peculiar workout routine.
Even though he was cooped up in the house, enjoying his time with exercise and music, Berna and Debora still set up their cameras to record him.
But that’s not all – they then mocked his routine, reenacting everything he was doing while laughing maniacally.
The fitness influencers later uploaded the video to their TikTok but took it down after facing criticism from viewers.
They even included a text overlay on the video that said “Copy the strange man in the corner of the gym”.
However, many social media personalities got hold of the original video and continued to expose Berna and Debora’s actions.
People who saw the video commented on how depressing the beatings were and said: “So sad to see this. The gym is already a scary place. People are there to improve themselves, not to be scrutinized.”
Others criticized the influencers’ actions, saying: “Those women are miserable in their own lives sitting there and being so vile for no reason.”
Another viewer also pointed out the fact that the man saved himself from injury, saying: “They’re making fun of him because he’s doing what I think is pre-workout stretching ? Did they want him to get hurt?
Since facing backlash for belittling the man at the gym, both Berna and Debora have made their TikTok accounts private. Neither of them commented further on their actions.
