A TikToker shared how he made his own Christmas tree, teaching others how to hang their decorations to be as sparkly as possible this holiday season.
There’s a month left until Christmas and as the countdown begins, many people are already starting to put out decorations and prepare for the festive season.
When it comes to decorating the Christmas tree, there are many ways to decorate; some prefer a simple look, while others go for wild colors, tinsel and glitter.
Luckily, for those looking for an extra wow factor, one TikToker is teaching others a new way to add ornaments to their trees for maximum sparkle.
Using ‘sunshinethedoggo’ online, the account departed from its usual content revolving around Chow chow and shar-pei hybrid dogs to share a Christmas tree hack; “Part of the joy of Christmas is seeing all of our decorations again!”
“Don’t hang your ornaments like this,” the account wrote, pointing out the most popular way to hang ornaments on the tree. Instead, they recommend using a pipe cleaner to tie the decorations together, creating a cluster of sparkling bulbs.
The clusters are then securely attached to the tree, taking its sparkle to a new level, with the TikToker captioning the video: “Decorative clusters are the way to go.”
TikTok: sunshinethedoggoOrnaments can be tied together with pipe cleaners (or string) to create glitter clusters.
One curious viewer who discovered this new hack commented: “Awesome! I have a bag of leftover pipe cleaners [and] I’m trying to figure out how to use them. Who is Martha Stewart?? Thanks for this!”
“Looks great,” said another. However, a third were less impressed by the added sparkle, demonstrating the subjectivity involved in decorating your Christmas tree, “It’s ugly.”
