The person who started the thread wrote a long paragraph that read: “People say she talks very childishly or likes to treat him like her manager or like he has control. controlling her, it’s strange…”
Another Redditor added, “I think Tarek is kind of a serious narcissist – there’s an episode where Heather says you’re wrong and his eyes change and he switches the dialogue so you can clearly see that point.
“He was abusive and controlling, but I think Heather thrived when he had control because he also gave her the life she couldn’t have without him.”
Another said: “Seems like some LDE (small compared to BDE) and he always needs confirmation that he is smart and knows more about things than she does.
“He completely denied that she had any personal knowledge of real estate before they met. He literally treats her like he’s living in a teacher/student fantasy IMO.”
However, not everyone feels too worried about Tarek. A third user said: “I’ve watched a lot of Flip or Flop over the years and I also think Tarek is fine on screen. It seems like his worst behavior is behind closed doors. He seems like a good businessman.”
