This time after West Bengal Forest Minister Jyotipriya Mallick and Trinamool state General Secretary Kunal Ghosh. TMCCongressman and actress Shatabdi Ray People are often blocked. As per schedule, Shatabdi Roy reached Melardanga village of Birbhum’s Hasan Council on Friday. Locals protested by blocking the MP’s car from Birbhum.

According to the protesters, a road of about 6 km from Melardanga to Margram was promised but it was not built, forcing the villagers to walk a long way to reach Rampurhat via Margram. In addition, many people also expressed frustration because they did not receive housing policies, old age benefits and were not included in government programs. Responding to the protests, Shatabdi Roy said, “Many people complain that they are not entitled to housing benefits or old age benefits. Some do not receive government benefits because of the government. I’ve heard about them. Everything will be the same. All will receive benefits from government programs.

On the other hand, TMC leader Devanshu Bhattacharya expressed anger when he reached Kukhutiya village of Balijuri panchayat. Residents complain that the area’s sewers have not been cleaned for a long time. Many people also expressed frustration because of the lack of names on the list of beneficiaries from the housing project. Devanshu also tried to calm down the angry villagers by talking to them. BJP’s Birbhum district president Dhruv Saha went from village to village amid the protests and criticized Trinamool leaders. He said, “Didi’s messenger is seeing ghosts in the village! Even after 12 years in power, the Trinamool has not been able to make any progress. This is why people are angry.” We tell you that recently Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee launched Didi’s Suraksha Kabach Yojana, under which MPs, MLAs and Trinamool leaders will go from village to village and talk about the Bengal government’s plans.
