The central government has taken an important decision regarding Hajj. Now the VIP culture has completely disappeared in Hajj. VIP seat quotas reserved for Hajj pilgrims have been abolished. Almost all VIP quotas allocated to the Prime Minister, President, Vice President, Minority Ministers as well as the Haj Committee of India have been cancelled. In 2012, a quota of 5000 VIPs was implemented. But now this quota has been abolished.
Now, VIP seats will be allocated directly to the public. Union Minister for Minorities Smriti Irani revealed this information from PKBnews India. The annual Hajj pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia is expected to reach pre-pandemic levels this year after restrictions imposed due to concerns about the coronavirus pandemic were eased .
In 2022, nearly 1 million people will travel

1.75 crore people are expected to leave India
At the same time, 1.75 lakh people are expected to travel from India this year. 30,000 pilgrims from Uttar Pradesh may travel to Saudi Arabia for Hajj. Uttar Pradesh Haj Committee Chairman and Indian Haj Committee member Mohsin Raja said on Tuesday that a quota of 1.75 lakh pilgrims from India has been earmarked for 2023. With this maximum number , pilgrims from Uttar Pradesh can participate in Hajj.
Most of the pilgrims from UP will go for Hajj
Uttar Pradesh State Haj Committee Chairman and Indian Haj Committee Member Mohsin Raja said on Tuesday that India has received a quota of 2.5 lakh for Haj 2023. Most pilgrims will perform Hajj from UP across the country. He said more than 30,000 pilgrims from UP will perform Hajj. Next week the Hajj 2023 policy will be issued and Hajj 2023 registration will begin. The government will provide the best facilities for pilgrims.
