Indian films attending the Oscars: There are many Indian films attending the Oscars this year. This time, not one or two but 11 films made the Oscar eligibility list.

List of Indian films for the Oscars: This 95th Academy Awards ceremony shows the explosion of Indian cinema. 301 films from around the world have been shortlisted for the Oscars, including 11 Indian films. Out of these 4 movies are from South Indian cinema and only 4 are from Bollywood. In addition, three local language films are also on the list.

The Gujarati film The Last Film Show is India’s official entry to this year’s Oscars. This is a Gujarati language film directed by Pan Nalini. It won the official entry, beating many of the biggest films in India. Priyanka Chopra recently held a special screening of the film at her home in the US.

The list includes four Bollywood films and four South films

Yesterday, 301 films from around the world were selected for the final race for Oscar nominations. These include four Bollywood films including Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiavid, Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files, R Madhavan starrer R Madhavan and Rocketry: The Nambi Effect and Senthil Kumar’s Almuthu.

Four films from South Indian cinema also made it to the list. They include SS Rajamouli directed RRR (Telugu), Rishabh Shetty starrer and Kantara (Kannada), Anup Bhandari directed Vikrant Rona (Kannada) and Pratithan directed by Irwin Nijhal (Tamil).
