BTS member Kim Tae-hyung, better known by his stage name V, has enlisted in the army and fans are deeply saddened.
In 2022, there was news that the famous K-pop group BTS would temporarily suspend their activities due to military service.
Some band members have begun their military service. Jin, SUGA and j-hope enlisted in early 2023.
Now, the last few members of the band will begin training in December 2023, including V. Initially, fans were worried about the group’s future, but BTS will reunite in 2025.

BTS member V (Kim Tae-hyung) will begin enlisting on December 11, 2023 at the New Recruit Training Center in Nonsan. It is known that V has applied to serve in the Special Task Unit of the Capital Defense Command of the Korean Army.
Other members are also expected to begin their required service training; RM also began enlisting on December 11 with Jimin and Jungkook enlisting on December 12. All members will have to serve for 18 months.

K-pop star Park Hyung-Sik reacts to his friend’s enlistment
As a member of the Wooga Squad, which also includes V, Park Hyung-Sik spoke at a fan event called SIKcret Time and mentioned V’s enlistment.
“Recently, just a few days ago, I knew a friend was about to enlist,” he said, “so I thought it would be a good idea to meet him before he enlisted. We ended up drinking quite a few drinks.”
Big Hit, the management company behind BTS, reportedly said that they cannot confirm the group’s enlistment date.
