Summary

Tom and Janet make love anytime, anywhere: in the bathroom, in the car, in the bathroom of a family gathering, on the stairs when they get home. But despite their boundless passion, they are no longer young. We’ve been married for 14 years and they still yearn for each other, as if they’re in a period of breathtaking romance. Not only do they love each other, but they truly love each other. They rarely argue, and when they disagree, they agree. The smoothing is done quickly and sincerely. They are also very beautiful and live in a beautiful house.

No wonder all their friends hate them. But they face unimaginable happiness when a mysterious stranger appears following a strange suggestion in the film, which is writer and director Ben-David Grabinski. And color is really complicated and only effective at certain times. This is an 80s style horror movie that uses modern technology and social etiquette. This is a dark comedy that makes dramatic tension and even horror eventually give way, or at least aims to do so. This is a surreal, dreamy quality that erupts with violence and bad behavior. But while Grabinski’s ambition is certainly commendable, he misses the juggling act he’s attempting, and fortunately he’s more disappointing than dazzling.

Grabinski presents us with a slow-motion shot of an elegant night and their attachment to the demon, implying a certain level of shyness and cheerfulness, which gradually dissipates over time. (The song “I Still Believe” from the “Lost Boy” soundtrack that played during the party was one of many movie references popular in the 80s and 90s. Although not a major influence, the coincidence shows that they are a personal favorite).

The fact that they still maintain such a relationship causes trouble for friends at the party, including unhappy couple Karen (Natalie Zea) and Val (Scheer). Tom and Janet were so upset that they were rejected by their friends. Spend the weekend at a luxury vacation home before continuing with the permanent invitation. The chaos inherent in these conversations makes the plot unnecessarily complicated, but it becomes more and more important as the plot progresses.
