An angry woman has gone viral on TikTok for throwing her boyfriend’s clothes over a sixth-floor balcony after finding out he was cheating.
The 34-year-old woman allegedly caught her boyfriend in bed with another woman, before she dumped all of his clothes and other items off the balcony of her NYC apartment.
In a viral clip with 1.5 million views, she is seen throwing a pile of shirts and pants from the sixth floor onto the sidewalk, while bystanders watch and film the dramatic scene. “Oh, she’s performing for them,” one of them exclaimed. “She’s still throwing things and the police are outside,” another said.
According to neighbors, a vase, couch, mirror and small kitchen appliances also fell to the ground during the chaos.
A resident of the building said a tree was strewn with personal belongings and was cut down to make room for a safety net in case the woman jumped down.
Police cordoned off the road below the apartment as a man believed to be her boyfriend tried to collect his belongings. Meanwhile, police told the Post that the woman stripped naked in a rage before being taken to Elmhurst Hospital for evaluation.
Neighbors said they were shocked by the incident because they had never heard the couple who had lived in the building for five years arguing before.
TikTok users in the comments section were excited about the film. “After this she has to go on a business trip,” one person wrote. “I was laughing out loud picking up clothes from a tree branch,” another added.
“Oh honey, I was going shopping, but I didn’t expect it to be all clothes,” a third person joked. “The police outside said ‘No, I’m not going in there. That’s dangerous,’” another joked.
