While doing any stunts on the track, it is obvious that you will hear the news about the accident. However, sometimes things become quite serious and fans feel worried about their players. Especially in horse racing, car racing, and bicycle racing games, many players are seriously injured. That is why it is necessary to play this game by taking every precaution and only doing it under supervision. However, sometimes players still get injured even after taking precautions, putting their careers at risk. Now you all must be thinking why are we talking about it. The reason is that recently two of Australia’s best equestrians were injured during the tournament and had to be hospitalized in serious condition.
Did Jamie Kah and Craig Williams die after the accident?
This horrific incident happened on Saturday, March 11, 2023. The 2 riders were identified as Craig Williams and Jamie Kah. Both have now been taken to the hospital. Reports say Jamie Kah was knocked unconscious and is considered to be in a “serious” condition after being rushed to the Royal Melbourne Hospital. Late on the evening of Saturday, March 11, the Victorian Horse Racing Association stated that Kah’s condition remained stable. The association added that she no longer had any injuries or fractures to her brain but suffered a severe concussion after she fell unconscious following the horrific fall.
Jamie Kah was hospitalized after the accident
Kah was “rushed” into the field after Flyball (her horse) clipped the heels of eventual winner Veight in the Group 2 Sires’ Produce Stakes. Additionally, Williams suffered a broken collarbone, broken finger, broken ribs and mild traumatic brain injury after his horse named Dubenenko tripped over Kah’s fallen horse. Racing Victoria confirmed that he was able to talk to his family. Reports added that the horses were raced after the horrific incident and are said to have suffered only minor injuries.
Again in the morning, the veterinarian will also examine the horse. Victorian Horse Racing Association boss Matt Hyland said Kah’s demise was “quite serious”. “Both riders suffered a hit to the head, especially Jamie,” he said. She fainted for a while but fortunately, she is now awake. It shows ads even though everything else seems fine.” Following the fall, there was a lengthy 40-minute delay as the medical team worked with the fallen riders while Kah’s partner and fellow rider Ben Melham spun the next winner before he went to meet her at the medical institute.
