KSI has stated that criticism from his fans is “too much” for him following his return to YouTube following a short hiatus.
KSI is one of the most popular influencers in the UK. For years, the YouTube star has dominated the platform, while expanding into other areas of passion like music and boxing.
In his own words, over the years he has kept grinding and after his recent fight with Tommy Fury where he received his first loss, he has taken a step away from YouTube.
Finally, on December 1, KSI returned to YouTube with a new upload where he finally broke his silence about the loss and revealed that he “didn’t feel like making videos ”.
KSI Reveals His Reddit Criticism Was “A Little Excessive”
During the recent December 8 episode of SideCast, KSI was asked by the Sidemen members what he would upload to YouTube next. The Prime co-founder revealed that he might make a reaction video to his Reddit. However, he explained that things are “chaotic” and “very critical” for him right now.
“Damn, man, Reddit is in chaos right now,” KSI said. “I think a lot of people hate me. There are a lot of Jake Paul fans.” He added: “I don’t know, like old fans are now saying I’ve changed and stuff like that. I don’t know, it’s very critical of me.”
Despite admitting that Reddit teasing him for a while was just a joke and part of the reason for his video, the YouTube star revealed that it no longer feels like a joke.
“It got to the point where it was a little too much,” he admitted. “It’s not a joke anymore. It’s okay now, this is personal.”
Having said that, KSI admitted that he just needs to “face the music” – realizing that once he reacts to it the “chaos” will calm down.
