While TikTok doesn’t have a Rollup feature to summarize your yearly stats, third-party tools can give you all the information you want.
quick path
How to see your TikTok stats when bundled for TikTok
Main lesson
There is no official TikTok Wrapped for 2023, but Wrapped for TikTok is a third-party tool that can summarize and analyze TikTok statistics without asking for your login information.
To get the stats, you’ll need to download your TikTok data as a JSON file and edit it with Visual Studio Code to remove any sensitive information.
You can upload a carefully filtered JSON file to Wrapped for TikTok to see a slideshow of statistics.
Screenshots and wrapped videos for various platforms are appearing on people’s social media feeds. However, if you want to see what your 2023 looks like on TikTok, you might be disappointed to learn that there’s no TikTok Wrapped for 2023. At least officially. But there is a third-party tool you can use to get an overview of your TikTok statistics.
We found a website that can help you implement your own TikTok Wrapped in a fun and interesting way. You can see how long you’ve been watching videos, your TikTok personality based on your interactions, your favorite emojis, and more cool things about how you use TikTok in 2023.
How to see your TikTok stats when bundled for TikTok
Wrapped for TikTok is a third-party website that allows you to upload your TikTok data to get a summary of your statistics. And, for the security conscious of you guys, it doesn’t ask you for your TikTok credentials.
You can also edit your TikTok data to exclude any sensitive information, which we highly recommend. Here’s how to get your summary using Wrapped for TikTok.
1. Request and download your TikTok data as a JSON file
Since there’s no way to link your TikTok account to the website where your Wrapped will be deployed, you’ll need to download your data from TikTok. We recommend doing this on your computer because it makes editing the JSON file much easier. You may want to edit it to remove sensitive data before uploading it to another site.
Here’s how to request and download your TikTok data:
Open TikTok on your browser and click on your profile picture at the top right.
Select Settings and scroll down to the Data section under Privacy.
Select Download your data.
When the new page loads, you will see a menu to request your data. Select the JSON conversion button and click Request Data.
You will wait a while for TikTok to process your request.
When done, go to Download Data at the top of the window and download your data from there.
If you don’t see the Request Data button while on the TikTok website, you should minimize it on your browser. Check out this guide on how to manage custom zoom levels on Chrome if you need help with that.
You can also repeat this process on your phone by going to Settings and privacy from the profile menu.
2. Delete your JSON file for sensitive information (Optional)
The Wrapped website claims that it will not upload your files to any servers and everything is done securely in your browser. However, to be extra careful, you can remove any sensitive information by bringing the file into an editor. We recommend using Visual Studio Code to do this; it’s free and easy to use.
Follow these steps to delete your TikTok JSON file:
Launch Visual Studio Code and drag the JSON file into the editor from your computer’s file manager.
Press Command + F or Control + F to open the search box and enter Profile.
Scroll near the first result to see if your name, city, address, zip code, etc. are there.
In the Profile Information section, you’ll see your date of birth and email address. You should delete them if you don’t want them there.
Just remove the information in the quotation marks and leave the quotation marks blank.
Hold Command + S or Control + S to save.
3. Upload your TikTok JSON file to package for TikTok
Once your data is deleted, your files are ready to be processed.
Go to Wrapped for TikTok and click I’ve exported my TikTok data, let’s get started!
Select Choose file, find your JSON file, and upload it.
Wait for it to finish downloading and click Show me!
It will run a slideshow of your stats with some background music.
When the slideshow is finished, you’ll be left with a bunch of other stats in the list.
You can’t share your TikTok video unless you record your screen, but you can share an image summarizing it. Scroll to the bottom of the list and click Share Image to download a PNG file containing your most important statistics.
And that’s all you need to do to get your own version of TikTok Wrapped. Hopefully TikTok will reintroduce this feature next year so users no longer have to rely on third-party tools.
