Shane Dawson and Ryland Adams’ surrogacy journey has come to an end, with the couple just announcing the birth of their twin boys.
YouTuber Shane Dawson and husband Ryland Adams have occasionally documented their surrogacy journey since announcing their plans to have a baby in March 2022.
Since their initial announcement, the couple revealed they have not one, but two children. Dawson and Adams have been relatively quiet following the news that they are having twins, only giving brief updates on details like meeting their surrogate and deciding on a hospital.
After a period of silence, they announced new parenthood and the birth of twin boys Jet Parker Adams Yaw and Max Chandler Adams Yaw on December 7, 2023. In an Instagram post by Shane Dawson, the couple celebrated the arrival of their children.
“There are no words that can express what it feels like to be fathers to these two beautiful boys,” Dawson and Adams wrote in a statement. The couple called the moment “the best day of our lives” and explained that “nothing else can compare.”
The statement was accompanied by photos of both Dawson and Adams holding their newborn in the hospital. The final shot shows the purchases being sold out and taking them home.
Dawson and Adams announced that they have no plans to feature the twins in any future content but wanted to share the announcement with their followers.
“We probably won’t show them as much in the future but since many of you have been with us, we felt it was right to show the destination,” they explained.

Despite the controversy surrounding Dawson since he was ‘cancelled’ in 2020, the reception to the birth of the twins in the comments has been overwhelmingly positive. “We are extremely grateful. Thank you for your love and support throughout this process,” the couple wrote.
“We can’t wait for all the moments that are unfolding. Appreciate each person individually.”
