A husband has been banned from creating Elf on the Shelf after his wife posted a viral video on TikTok of his family-unfriendly creation.
Christmas is a festive time for many people, decoration lovers have the opportunity to customize their Christmas tree, hang lights throughout the house and decorate their living space with ornaments etc.
And while these decorations are typically family-friendly, one TikToker posted a video of the Elf on the Shelf created by her husband. The video, which has more than 3 million views on the platform, has gone viral.

“When your husband is in charge of the Elf on the Shelf!” Erisa Laska wrote text on her 13-second clip. The video, set to Eminem’s “Without Me,” includes a scene of Leprechaun lounging in a bathroom sink, soap bubbles also filling the water.
However, the camera then focuses on the elf’s back, a small bottle of Tito’s Handmade Vodka lying nearby, and the Barbie doll that joins him in the water. The Leprechaun can also be seen flashing a cheeky smile as if he were a bachelor entertaining a group of beautiful women in the pool.
“He is no longer in power,” Laska captioned the video, referring to her husband who created the arrangement.
Users quickly flooded the comments section on TikTok, with many finding the situation funny. One person commented “Hubby lives vicariously through the elf” while another added, “I bet he’s pretty proud of himself for that.”
Others added, “Elf a playa…what did you expect” and “he played it right. Maybe he never wanted that mission.”
