TikToker was angry when the police were called right after buying a new house 2023

TikTok users have rallied around a TikToker who, shortly after buying a new home, was harassed by the police for unknown reasons.

Home design, renovations, and heartwarming stories have always been popular video genres on TikTok, especially as many viewers started taking inspiration from them to do their own.

However, in the case of Justin Voss (justvoss636), that dream of buying a new home became a nightmare almost immediately after moving in.

The TikToker, who often posts clips from the gym, moved into a new home in Minnesota and almost immediately found himself being harassed by the police. As a result, TikTok has begun to rally behind him.

Justin posted a clip in early July, which has since garnered more than 12.5 million views, of himself being confronted in front of his home by three officers from the local police department.

The video doesn’t record why the police were there, but Justin joked that they were a “welcome” party for him moving into his new house. However, things were quite tense as the police initially ignored his request for his name and badge number. However, they eventually gave in before the video ended and accepted the request for peace.

Viewers urged him to seek legal help over what happened and begged the TikToker to reveal the reason for the visit.

The TikToker posted an update shortly after, filming a video of himself at the local police station to make a formal complaint about the officers and the situation unfolding outside his new home.

He has since posted a video but it has nothing to do with what happened with the police and viewers are looking forward to an update on the situation.

“Did they even have or show you a search warrant? They can’t just go in. Definitely get a lawyer,” one person said. “Please do your best!! Please keep us updated,” another added. “Let us know when you sue them!” another commented.

It remains to be seen whether Justin will give an update on the situation, but if it becomes a legal matter it could be a while.
