Warhammer fans have been extremely excited ever since they heard about the release of the new Tyranid models. All nine new Warhammer Tyranids units were revealed on Saturday, which means they are now available to buy. These new models have been released by Games Workshop. The British miniature wargame maker has revealed nine new units for the Warhammer 40k Tyranids line, including Termagants, Genestealers, updated Hormagaunts, as well as the massive new Norn Assimilator and Norn Emissary. The company revealed the additions to the Warhammer 40k faction at the “Battle for Oghram” livestream last weekend.
New Tyranid model
The company also announced that the Tyranids Codex will be the first book released in this edition. Spaceborne species receive a host of new models in the Leviathan launch box set for the tenth edition of Warhammer 40k. Additionally, they have one of the larger Xenos lines. These new models are just modern standards of the older kits, including some great new minis. Those who have played with it were extremely excited to learn about these new models. The new Warhammer 40k Tyranid models launching on Saturday, July 15 are:
- Norn messenger
- Norn assimilation
- Gene thief
- Hormagaunts
- Multi-part termagants
- Lictor
- Psychoactive drugs
- carnivores
- Pyrovor
- Vanguard force
Additionally, Warcom manager Eddie Eccles shared a hint that the new 40k Rangers will appear in the Tyranids Warhammer 40k Codex. According to the manager, this force is limited to “vanguard” creatures such as Genestealers, Von Ryan’s Leapers and Lictors led by a special character named “Deathleaper”. These new models were revealed because their forces were victorious in the “Battle for Oghram” community engagement campaign, winning 54% of the 44,000 battles that fans registered with company. WarCom’s manager said that the campaign was almost over until the past few days.
Additionally, the company revealed more Tyranid “medium bugs” were included including Pyrovores, Lictors, and Biovores. We have even more designs coming from the company. Von Ryan’s Leapers and Deathleaper is just a teaser. There are new Tyranids in the lineup including new Tyranid Lictor, new Neurolictor, Deathleaper, Biovore and Pyrovore.
