A 100-year-old woman in Mohanlalganj area of Lucknow was forced to sleep under a tree during this harsh winter. SDM Mohanlalganj knew about it and scolded the old man’s family.

Uttar Pradesh’s capital Lucknow One such incident occurred in Mohanlalganj area, shaking humanity. Here a 100-year-old woman was forced to sleep under a tree during this harsh winter. Even though he has his own house, Shivpayari still has three sons who are forced to sleep outdoors. One son died of illness and another son had an accident long ago. This left him weak in the legs and unable to walk, and his third son was born handicapped.

One of Shivpayari’s sons got married and they all made a living as leather traders. The family member (mother) said that Shivpari is 100 years old and if she was asked to wear clothes, she would not wear them. There are many problems. The daughter-in-law said everyone in the house served her, but when asked to go home, she did not agree. The family said that due to many difficulties, they sold their ancestral land and had their own house, but the house only ran because of the leather business. His two sons both had weak legs. Shivpayari is looked after by his eldest son’s wife.

SDM beat the family

After SDM Mohanlalganj learned that an old woman was kept under a tree, SDM Hanuman Prasad came to the scene and threatened the family members to take the old woman inside the house and give her tea along with blankets and warm clothes. Following SDM’s orders, the family members took Shivpari inside the house.

Lying in such cold weather could be harmful to her health, so I went to the scene immediately. It turned out that she had three sons but even so she frankly lied. Talked to my son and daughter-in-law about this. Then he was taken home. SDM said the old man’s health was not good. He had difficulty going to the bathroom at home.
