A woman has gone viral after revealing that she found the wedding website of the man she was dating and had to confront him on it.

Relationship dramas have always been one of the Internet’s favorite genres of videos and posts, and that’s no exception during the rise of TikTok.

It feels like there’s something new going viral every few weeks, stemming from the infamous Couch Guy incident. TikTokers have parodied it over the years and also shared similar stories about how their relationship lasted.

However, there is also a small group of people who think they can have a successful relationship, only to find out that the person they are seeing is married to someone else.

TikToker goes viral after finding her boyfriend’s wedding website

It happened again with TikToker Ellen Smith (ellenelizsmith), when she went viral after finding a website about the wedding of a man she happened to meet.

“If you’re having a bad day, remember that you may have accidentally Googled the wedding website of the man you’ve been dating for six weeks. So it could always be worse – for you, not for me! Stay lucky,” she said in her video and captioned it “men are trash.”

Ellen’s video has garnered more than 415,000 views at the time of writing, which has naturally prompted a number of calls for an update.

She provided an update two days after her original post, revealing some of the messages she received after confronting the man and the fact that he was getting married in two weeks .

One of them included her telling him that she hung up after he tried to call – apparently in an attempt to explain herself.

Many comments urged Ellen to contact this man’s fiancée. “You have to tell her, she deserves to know. Trust me, I know,” one person said. “Please tell that girl before she considers this a legitimate alliance, lol. You can help her save a lot of money,” another person commented.

Some even shared similar horror stories of their own, including one who dated a guy for six years before finding out he was married. “I was talking to a guy who told me he was coming home for the wedding… it was HIS wedding,” another added.
