A woman was left “devastated” after opening a bag of spinach expecting some greens – only to find a dead frog mixed in with her pasta.

Now, another gruesome food-related discovery is taking over social media after something that shouldn’t have been in a woman’s bag of spinach.

The woman was “hurt” when she saw a frog in her spinach invading her noodles
On October 19, Australian TikTok user Simone Baker uploaded a video to TikTok showing off what she found in her bag of spinach.
It looked like Simone was preparing a delicious pasta dish – but when she decided to add spinach to the mix, she discovered something she wasn’t expecting.
In addition to spinach, it appears her purchase also included a frog, which can be seen on top of the sauce-covered pasta mixture.
“Fresh food people, literally a fresh frog in my spinach,” Baker captioned the video. “It couldn’t be any fresher.”
It appears Baker contacted customer service at Woolworths and wrote in a comment: “What kills me is how they asked, ‘Is there any strange object missing a limb?’”
Luckily, Baker is overcoming all challenges with optimism, even joining in on the jokes users make in the comments section.
One viewer wrote: “What’s killing me is that he had sauce on him so you must have stirred him in.”
“Can I make this without the frog? Not really an x fan,” another joked.
“This is why you always wash vegetables before eating!” another person reminded.
In a follow-up video, Baker said she was “traumatized having to eat spinach or pesto pasta again” as a result of the incident.
A spokesperson for Woolworths issued a statement on the situation, saying “its supplier conducted multiple quality assessments on this batch of spinach leaves and did not detect any foreign objects during processing.” handler, so this appears to be an isolated incident.”
