Adin Ross showed his support for rapper Tory Lanez after Megan Thee Stallion’s TikTok went viral and his comment is sparking a huge debate.
On September 18, American rap star Megan Thee Stallion made netizens gasp when she showed off her gym results on TikTok.
The rapper showed off her trim abs before throwing it back in a full-blown twerk for the cameras as she danced to Yeat’s “Ok Kool.”
“In front of the gym,” Megan captioned her video. “She’s firm but it still moves, don’t panic.” The clip attracted more than 2 million views in two days as comments continued to praise her figure.
Even music artist Billie Eilish chimed in, saying in an extremely thirsty comment: “Megan, I’m really free whenever.”
However, despite the large number of fans showing support for Megan, not everyone reacted positively to the clip. Notably, popular Kick streamer Adin Ross weighed in on the viral moment with a comment showing support for Tory Lanez.
“We do not care. Free Tory,” the streamer wrote.
Ross’ comments referenced the infamous incident between Tory and Megan, which occurred in 2020 when Tory allegedly shot Megan in the leg after the two artists argued.
Three years later, Lanez was sentenced to 10 years in prison after being convicted of three crimes: “Assault with a firearm, illegal possession of a firearm and negligent discharge of a firearm to shoot the victim.”
Ross’ comments sparked a heated debate online, with many Megan fans denouncing the streamer’s support for Lanez, while others supported Adin and expressed their love similar.
“I expected this from random internet trolls, not from an influencer,” one user commented.
“I think everything is so messy and it should be resolved with a retrial,” another chimed in.
“How does this man still have a platform?” another asked. “Tory went to jail because he shot someone, which is exactly where he should be.”
This is just the latest controversy to erupt around Adin Ross after the streamer announced he wanted to go live with Kim Jong Un.
