Hololive is arguably the biggest dealer in the VTuber industry. Featuring outstanding talent from many regions, Cover Corporation’s team has become an international phenomenon. Here is the complete list of all the Hololive and Holostars members who made that happen.

Founded in June 2016, Cover Corporation began operations as an augmented reality software developer. However, its real success will come to virtual idol Tokino Sora in 2017 and then Generation 0 in 2018.

The company’s success in Japan will continue before it goes international. Hololive Indonesia first in April 2020 and then Hololive English followed in September 2020. This impressive growth continues with more waves appearing.

With Cover having so many VTubers, it’s hard to keep track of them all, so we’ve compiled this comprehensive list of every Hololive member.

Launched in September 2020, Hololive English is Cover’s first serious attempt at expanding its brand to a Western audience. These talents mainly produce content for English-speaking audiences but still regularly collaborate with members from other affiliates.

Hololive EN The arrival of the holoAdvent marks the first new generation of Hololive EN in almost two years.

The original Hololive affiliate, with Sora first airing in July 2017 on Niconico. The talent has come a long way with generations of debuts. These talents are almost exclusively broadcast in Japanese but are still popular worldwide.

Hololive’s latest additionsHololive Japan comes with holoX, a secret organization operating from the shadows.

First appeared in April 2020, Hololive ID is Cover’s branch in Indonesia. The company’s talents produce a variety of content in English, Indonesian and Japanese with a different exact balance between idols.

Member of Holostars EN

Holostars English is a more recent addition aimed at bringing the Holostars brand to a Western audience. They are an all-male group that debuted in July 2022, Vanguard added four more members in January 2023.

Holostars JP member

Holostars is an all-male version of Hololive featuring idols with all sorts of personalities and skills. Although not as well known as the girls, these guys are all exceptionally talented and have been around for a while when Gen 1 came out in June 2019.
