Alyssa Fluet’s car accident
Reports suggest that the MFD Assistant Director’s daughter was trying to stop one of the trucks from rolling. The crash happened around 8 p.m., the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office said. Furthermore, authorities explained that one of the trucks began rolling out of its parking spot and hit another pickup truck, pinning Alyssa Fluet between them. The unoccupied parked pickup truck that began rolling was a 1998 Ford Ranger and it crashed into another parked, unoccupied 2004 Ford Ranger pickup truck. But Alyssa Fluet was trying to stop the rolling pickup truck. The sheriff’s office also said Alyssa Fluet died at the scene. The car’s fault was the cause of the accident. “Initial investigation indicates motor vehicle defect was a contributing factor,” the sheriff’s office said.
