The Narasimha temple at Joshimath was built by Vasant Dev himself. His wife’s name was Rajnarayani Devi, according to information obtained from the Bageshwar inscriptions. Vasantha Deva assumed the titles Parambhattarak, Parabrahman and Maharajadhiraja. He donated a village to the Deva temple at Bageshwar.
King Lalitsur is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu
