Bar owner “devastated” after OnlyFans’ bold move failed to save the business 2023

A bar owner has been left “devastated” after she was forced to close her shop despite using OnlyFans to help keep her business afloat.

Inflation has been having a negative impact on businesses globally, with the UK being no exception to this situation of rising prices.

According to NPR, in 2022 alone, more than 11,000 businesses in the UK will be forced to close. And one of them is bar owner Lauren Beers.

Beers was forced to make the “devastating” decision to close his bar Waggon and Horses last weekend, despite doing all he could to stay afloat – including starting a new account. OnlyFans account.

Taking to Instagram, Beers shared the news she had been dreading; “Continuing to fund a failing business would be foolish – and I’m done.”

“When I tell you that I gave it my all and tried everything in my power to make my business successful, I really mean it,” she says. “I haven’t taken a salary since Covid, I’ve been working part-time to try to cover my own bills so I haven’t had to take anything out of the business, I’ve even started sales head. Admitting that “devastated” is an understatement, Beers thanked those who have supported her business; “I can’t thank you enough for being on this journey with me, and without this and the bitter side of things, my business would simply have closed 12 months ago.. So thank you.”

Beers’ followers flocked to her comments to offer their condolences and some words of comfort, with one person writing: “When one door closes, another opens! One day you will look back on this as a blessing.”

Another said: “I can see the sadness in your eyes. What an extremely difficult decision! It takes some serious guts and courage to make this choice. You should be proud of your strength!

Luckily for those still hoping to support Beers, it seems like she has no plans to end her OnlyFans project anytime soon; “You all have supported me and I hope you will continue to do so – because you cannot get rid of me that easily!!”
