A big fan of the hit Star Wars series Are you a Mandalorian?

Based on Moscow Times, Ayaall Fyodorov answered this question by building a life-sized replica of Din Djarin’s iconic spaceship “the Razor Crest” in his hometown of Yakutsk, a Russian city in eastern Siberia, with his friends during the coronavirus lockdown. The life-sized Razor Crest has landed in a local park (or harbor), waiting for it to return to the stars.

CBS News posted video of the ship’s arrival on their Twitter feed below:

Fyodorov (known as just.ayaal on Instagram) is also an avid cosplayer and regularly posts images of the Razor Crest, some of which feature him wearing full Mando armor, accompanied by his child. young, Grogu (though to us he’ll always be “Baby Yoda”). This replica even includes a custom-designed “child seat” for Kids to ensure they stay safe during rough landings (we all know how well the Razer Crest handles in snow…).

“This cosplay was the hardest thing to create, but we did it,” Fyodorov told TASS Press Agency. The ship is 14 meters long and weighs more than 2,000 pounds. “As fans, we decided to create the Razor Crest precisely, because no one in the world had ever made it before. This is what attracts us – doing the impossible.”

This is no small achievement in the world of cosplay. After more than a year of construction, the starcraft was completed in March this year and became the first ship of its kind. And it’s more than impressive.

“When we started work, we only used our own money. When we decided to make the taxi in more detail, we simply did not have enough money for it and it was also not good to leave everything halfway – the subscribers of our Instagram account helped : when we cried, they helped…” Fyodorov explained. In a later quote from Moscow times, Fyodorov continued, “Yakutsk IT Park, one [local] The private company helped us rent a hangar, the only place where the structure could fit.”

A total of five people worked to build the giant spaceship, the entire process filmed for its upcoming release on Fyodorov’s YouTube channel. Photos of the entire process can also be found on Fyodorov’s Instagram page.

This is the way.
