Captain Sandy from Below Deck Med has been famous for many years for his leadership skills. According to some fans of the show, they don’t want to watch season 8 of Below Deck Med because they don’t like the Captain’s behavior in previous seasons.
However, many Below Deck Med fans were instead quick to defend Captain Sandy, claiming that her skills as Captain were unfairly singled out.
Below Deck Med fans refuse to watch when Captain Sandy returns
Despite Captain Sandy’s professionalism and skill over the years, many fans of the show still have the impression that she doesn’t play fair on Below Deck Med. This leader has been accused by the audience of “favoritism” as well as “micromanaging” his employees.
Furthermore, some fans of the hit Bravo series believe that Captain Sandy has let the TV show aspect “get on her nerves” and now she is looking for drama and conflict even when nothing starts.
When it was announced that The Captain would return for season 8, many fans of the show couldn’t help but rejoice. In fact, some people even declared they would stop watching because of the reality star’s return and asked the show to find a new captain to replace him.
“If it was Sandy, I wouldn’t be watching!” one fan wrote on an Instagram post introducing The Captain.
Another fan agreed, writing: “So skip Med cause I’m yawning.”
“Won’t watch until they replace Sandy,” another said. “So I will never watch it again.”
However, many other fans expressed strong love for Captain Sandy, claiming that such hatred was unfounded. “Honestly, I don’t understand why people don’t like Sandy,” one fan said. “I love her leadership style. Be direct and give direction. Don’t know why there is such a problem.”
