After getting acquainted with Ross McHarg in the tenth season, the bosun was replaced for Below Deck Season 11.
Season 11 of Below Deck started off in a very interesting way. First, Captain Lee Rosbach will not return for the season.
Because the showrunner won’t be returning, it’s impossible to know which cast members will actually join the eleventh season.
For Season 10, the bosun is Ross McHarg, who is less focused on work and more focused on romancing co-star Katie Glaser.
And now, because of a recent job posting resurfacing online, fans believe he is about to be replaced.
Does Below Deck Season 11 have a new Bosun?
On October 23, a Below Deck fan shared a photo of a job ad they saw on Reddit.
“BOSUN is needed to have experience for the Below Deck series on a major cable network. Must be available for seven weeks in February and March 2024,” the job posting reads.
It also mentions that the charterer needs to have at least one year of yachting experience to be considered for the position.
Since Season 8 of Below Deck was filmed in Antigua, it’s safe to assume that this is a landmark series. Everyone quickly reacted to the recruitment news and couldn’t help but crack a few jokes.
One fan wrote: “Ruan will register with a new name and wear a fake mustache.”
Another fan chimed in and wrote, “Experience ONE season? Now I understand.”
The post not only revealed the search for a new bosun, but also revealed a potential filming date for Season 11. If that’s true, fans can expect the upcoming season to take place in late 2024.
