A British man has been arrested in Spain after his wife fell six floors from a hotel balcony. The couple are staying at the four-star Rio Park hotel in Benidorm. Currently, the woman is in critical condition at a local hospital. According to authorities, the horrifying incident happened shortly after midnight. Police confirmed that the 40-year-old husband was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Police officials said this was a ‘precautionary measure’ while they continued to study the circumstances surrounding the hotel plunge.

It is reported that officials have arrested a British man on suspicion of attempted murder after his British wife jumped from the sixth floor balcony of their hotel in Benidorm. The woman was admitted to Marina Baixa Hospital in Villajoyosa after the incident. According to Spanish media, witnesses said the man was in his hotel room when the woman rushed over the edge of the balcony.
