Benjamin Millepied began his career as a soloist in 1998 and was named director of the New York City Ballet in 2002. Benjamin founded the LA Dance Project between 2001 and 2004. In Jerome Robbins’ debut of ‘2 and 3 Part Inventions’, he played the lead role.
Benjamin is also the creator and director of the 2011 ‘LA Dance Project’ at the Los Angeles Music Center.
