Story of the movie Bhediya:
The story begins with a Delhi-based road construction contractor Bhaskar (Varun Dhawan) traveling to Arunachal Pradesh along with his cousin Janardhan or known as JD (Abhishek Bannerjee) along with a local friend from the area. Northeast, Jomin (Paalin Kabak). The trio set out on a mission to convince the tribes to surrender their land and allow roads to be built on it. Bhaskar convinces the youth that they need malls and that “Netflix is not nature”.
They encounter strange incidents, the most important being Bhasker being bitten by a wolf. Soon, he acquired the traits and characteristics of this creature, and from here, the folk tale of a shape-changing wolf called ‘vishanu’ emerged and the story became interesting and more attractive. At over two and a half hours long, the film overstays its welcome, laced with traditional Bollywood speedy dance numbers and songs as well as romantic interludes.
