Accident on the Cape Coast
This is an extremely horrifying incident that has been circulating online since it happened. An STC bus was transporting a large number of high school students from Kasoa to Cape Coast. This scene is related to an accident at Gomoa Buduatta junction in the Central region. The bus number is GT-1079-20.
STC bus accident today
The bus collided with a speeding dump truck from Somersaulted and Winneba. According to reports, the students on the bus came from many different schools in the Central region. This incident happened in the early morning of April 17, 2023, Monday. Some people were rescued but others remained trapped in the bus. Personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service and the fire brigade then arrived at the scene to rescue the remaining people on the bus. But luckily the body was not dead. No deaths have been recorded. Everyone is safe. But everyone was seriously injured.
All were taken to the hospital immediately. They are all acknowledged and they are being treated well there. Their family was very worried after learning about this accident.
