Captain Sandy Yawn had it out with one of her crew members in Below Deck Med Season 8, threatening to kick him off the boat if his “bullying” continued.
Sandy has never been shy about criticizing his team members and the consensus among fans is that one star is on borrowed time – Kyle.
In episode 10, she agrees with them. Kyle narrowly escapes the ax after Natalya Scudder leaves the boat in episode 9 but it won’t be long before he’s packing his bags too.
In a heated discussion with Kyle Viljoen, who has been at the center of all the drama this charter season and has even left social media, Sandy threw down the gauntlet in a way that has never been seen before. from the dramatic shooting of Hannah Ferrier.

She said: “Every situation that happens on this boat, guess who is the common denominator? This is a professional setting.
“You want to be the chief stew? You can’t even control your emotions. I promise you that I will get you to the docks quickly if you don’t change.
“Your bullying, yelling, disrespecting people at work? I won’t tolerate that, Kyle. If I have a crew member come to me about you then you will go.”

Kyle took the medicine and distanced himself from his superiors, but his perspective changed dramatically soon after.
“I will resign,” he told Tumi. “Captain, I have never seen her so angry…”
He then said that being called a common denominator was the last straw and he was leaving the boat. However, some support from Tumi might have convinced him to stay a little longer.
She added: “We only have two and a half weeks left. “If you leave, we will probably be short of players for the rest of the season. I don’t want to lose you… That’s the truth. You are a valuable asset to the boat.”
Kyle’s future remains to be seen, but it looks like his time on Captain Sandy’s luxury yacht is coming to an end. If not now then very soon.
