TikTok star Charli D’Amelio opened up on an episode of her Hulu show about why she doesn’t post online about her breakup with Landon Barker.
Charli D’Amelio and Landon Barker’s relationship has been surrounded by breakup rumors since they started dating in the summer of 2022.
Over the following year and a half, the couple repeatedly dodged claims of separation – often because they hadn’t posted any photos together on social media in a while.
However, both stars usually shut down these rumors by posting new photos together… but thanks to the latest episode of The D’Amelio Show, it looks like fan theories weren’t wrong.
HuluCharli and Landon first went public with their romance in the summer of 2022 – but now, it looks like the pair may have ended it for good.
Charli D’Amelio reveals her breakup with Landon Barker
During the finale of The D’Amelio Show on Hulu, Charli admitted that she and Landon had, in fact, broken up. According to Charli, Landon “turned on” her during her birthday trip to the Bahamas.
“He said, ‘You don’t know how to handle my anxiety,’” Charli explains. “We fought every night. It was like every little thing I did.”
Charli also claimed Landon left “ten minutes before” her birthday party, causing everyone to question where he went. “He was like really mad at me,” she said.
However, the TikToker avoided posting about their breakup on social media, saying it would “interrupt” her healing process after the breakup.
She said: “I decided not to post the breakup news online. “I think it just interrupts the healing process that you’re going through. It’s a lot easier to clean things up once you’ve taken care of it.”
“No matter what, we still respect each other. I think we are both very young and have a lot to learn about ourselves. It’s important for me to be completely independent and thrive without a boyfriend.”

Charli’s version of events contradicts statements Landon has made in recent interviews. In an interview on the Zach Sang Show in early October, Landon asserted that he and Charli are still together and that they are simply not a couple who appears in public very often.
“If it’s true, you don’t have to post it,” Landon said. “I’m still seeing her [Charli] anytime, […] but that’s probably why people think that way, because we’re not very active on social media.”
