Season 8 of Below Deck Med ended after a disastrous second show where Tumi and Chef Jack faced off.
Tumi has gone through a difficult path for her first time taking on the role of team leader at Below Deck Med. Not only did bad weather result in charter guests being unable to sail, but the drama between the crew only made things worse.
After a mistake in ordering dinner, Chef Jack only adds to Tumi’s stress by becoming angry with her about the whole ordeal. According to the chef, he didn’t like the fact that Tumi didn’t take responsibility for the dinner mistake and instead blamed the situation on the guests.
Chef Jack and Tumi argue about a mistake during dinner at Below Deck Med
In Season 8, Episode 3 of the hit Bravo show, one of the charter guests was unhappy with her dinner. Unfortunately, there was a misunderstanding with her order request, in which she believed her appetizer would be served as an entree instead.
This confusion made chef Jack extremely stressed, however Tumi tried to put him at ease by saying that it was the charter guests’ fault and not the fault of anyone on the crew.
Jack was not a fan of this answer and instead felt like Tumi should have taken responsibility for the mistake as the frontman rather than blaming the guests. When Tumi felt as though Jack was treating her unfairly, she warned him not to let any other member of the crew “in his ear” about her.
According to Tumi, she believes that Chef Jack doesn’t “respect” her because Natalya lied to him.
In an attempt to patch up the situation, Tumi told Jack how she really felt about him. “I want you to win, I never want you to fail,” she told him. “You are extraordinary… I know you have someone by your side, I want at least a fair chance.”
Stay tuned for more Below Deck Med to see if Jack and Tumi can settle their beef once and for all.
