Chris Evans Becomes Buzz Lightyear in First Trailer for ‘Toy Story’ Spinoff 2023

Disney and Pixar have released the official teaser trailer for their summer 2022 animated blockbuster Light year.

According to the studios, Light year will tell “the definitive origin story of Buzz Lightyear – the hero who inspired the toy – introducing the legendary Space Ranger that will win over generations of fans.”

The trailer is just over a minute and 30 seconds long, with excerpts from the film synced to legendary rock singer David Bowie’s classic song Starman.

It’s not until the end that we hear the voice of new Buzz Lightyear, Chris Evans, who says just one word in the short clip that also teases another space ranger…

Lightyear is sure to be one of the biggest movies released next year, given Lightyear’s original fans. Toy Story The franchise is joined by more and more new followers.

The film will be directed by Pixar Studios Angus MacLane.

Light year will hit theaters on June 17 next year.
