Crash Bandicoot has finally returned to McDonald’s after nearly 20 years and here’s how you can get the brand new collectibles.
With the Disney 100 finally parting ways, the chain is now bringing back a character who hasn’t appeared since 2004.
Many of us will remember Crash Bandicoot from our childhood along with some of the cool toys McDonald’s released with the game.
The first set includes handheld game consoles with drawings of the series’ characters. These include Crash, Cortex, Coco and Crunch. Six games are included: Kart Racing, Atlasphere Bowling, UFO Shooting, Tiger Riding, Submarine Hunting and Inventor’s Madness.
Then, in 2005, they released a second set of games, including Crash Bandicoot: Kart Racing, Spyro: Fire and Crash Bandicoot: Space Battle, Spyro: Dark Blue, Crash Bandicoot: Dance Showoff, Spyro: Ice, Crash Bandicoot: Water Ski and Spyro: Green.
Now, they’ve just revealed some more prizes that fans can receive.
What’s in McDonald’s Crash Bandicoot release and how to get it
Crash Bandicoot fans will have the chance to own a whole new range of toys. This release is accompanied by the new Crash Bandicoot game, Crash Team Rumble, a multiplayer video game released in June 2023.
There will be a total of eight different items for Crash Bandicoot fans to collect, including plushies, classic card games, and puzzles.
The new collectibles are:
- Crash Collector card game
- Crash’s memory card game
- Spyro’s memory card game
- Crash and Dingodile Plush
- Coco and Spyro are luxurious
- Stack-n-Crash Challenge
- Speed jigsaw puzzles
- Tawna’s Tic-Tac-Toe game
They’re available now for fans in the US to collect, and you just need to purchase a Happy Meal to get them.
There’s no word on whether the toy will be available outside the US, and McDonald’s has yet to reveal the length of the promotion. So, it’s best to act quickly.
