North Delhi Kashmiri Gate Taxi driver in the area Female Uber driver But an unidentified person allegedly attacked him by throwing stones. The accident happened to a female taxi driver at around 2pm while on duty. Meanwhile, a man threw rocks at the car and tried to snatch the phone. The female taxi driver was identified as Priyanka Devi. Police said Priyanka Devi suffered minor injuries to her chest in the attack but managed to escape. He was taken to the hospital and discharged after first aid.
DCP (North) Sagar Singh Kalsi said, ‘We received a call around 2 am informing that a robbery was being attempted by breaking the car window. Police officers arrived at the scene and assaulted a female taxi driver named Priyanka, a resident of Samipur Badli. After police arrived at the scene, the woman reported that her taxi window was broken and they tried to take her cell phone. By the time she saved her cell phone, the attacker had fled the scene. However, the woman did not agree to report the incident to the police.
