After a UPS delivery driver fell down a homeowner’s front steps, he wrote a cheeky note to warn them about the hilarious moment.
Although UPS driver Steven Benavides confidently walked up to one homeowner’s front door, he was soon greeted with a bumpy ride back to his delivery truck.
Sure he’s delivered a lot of packages before, but in this case, he took a rather awkward tumble.
Luckily for the Benavides, the homeowner had a camera on the front porch that captured it all on tape, leading him to leave them a funny note warning them about what they might see when they looked. via camera roll.

A delivery driver went viral on TikTok because he fell into the camera
Benavides was on his way to deliver the goods when the unexpected happened. He took a photo as evidence when he let himself down, his foot caught on a brick and he fell down.
Although he quickly got up, Benavides still decided to write the homeowner a bold letter saying: “I just fell very hard on your front porch. Watch the ring camera to laugh heartily. Laughs.” He then included his cell phone number after asking them to send him the video.
Benavides then recorded the video and uploaded it to TikTok. It has now reached more than 11 million people, bringing much laughter to those who have seen it.
Benavides was even interviewed by Newsweek, where he shared why he wanted to show the world his somersault caught on camera, saying, “I thought I’d post it to everyone laughed at me. I never expected it to blow up so big.”
He continued: “I scraped my knee pretty good, but nothing serious. My immediate thought was that I wanted to see the video so I went back and left a message.”
People who saw Benavides’ viral TikTok video commented to share their laughter and said, “This is what the world needs! A little more humor and the ability to laugh at yourself. Be kinder and remember that life is too short not to smile.”
Others joked about how he seemed to look at the brick to blame for his fall, saying: “He was looking for the boldness in that move to do it to him.” Also, “He looked back… was that floor there before?!”
Some viewers also explained their similar experience with order delivery, saying: “I do Amazon Flex and it happened to me — not yet but it will happen eventually. I zone out when taking photos.”
Even though he was trolled for his fall, the jokes were all in good fun. Benavides also did not comment on whether he will continue to work after his fall, but we can only hope that a single moment of embarrassment will not prevent him from continuing his work .
