Dr Dispect and IShowSpeed dominated YouTuve Gaming as the most-watched streamers in North America, but Doc pulled ahead by just a touch to complete Q3 2023.

As the rivalry between Kick and Twitch continues to take center stage, it’s easy to forget that YouTube has some of its most famous streamers as well as Dr Dispect climbing to the top of the platform.

From July to September 2023, IShowSpeed fought for the top spot on YouTube twice with more hours watched than any other creator in the category.

Although IShowSpeed finished 2022 significantly ahead of the 6’8 Doc, the past few months have shown that you can never ignore the Champions Club.

Violence, IShowSpeed and Momentum dominate YouTube

According to a new report by StreamsCharts, Dr Dispect has attracted a whopping 4.93 million hours of viewing with 266 hours of airtime over the past three months to take the top spot.

This wasn’t nearly enough to knock out Speed, who had 4.61 million watch hours. However, surprisingly he only streamed for 92 hours.

TimTheTatman rounded out the top three with fans watching his content for a total of 4.41 million hours.

Dr Dispect is also the only English-speaking streamer when considering all of YouTube Gaming and not just North America, coming in 8th place overall.

Retired Mobile Legends pro Jonathan ‘Emperor’ Liandi claimed the top spot worldwide, amassing over 8 million watch hours, and Japanese VTuber Pekora came in second.

We’ll have to find out whether Doc or Speed have enough power to overtake those ahead of them in the overall standings to complete 2023. That is, of course, if they stay on YouTube.

StreamschartsDr Dispect is the only English-speaking streamer in the top 10.

Unlike Dr Dispect, Speed was recently unbanned on Twitch and could very well decide to return to the purple platform in the future.

Meanwhile, Doc seems content on YouTube as his relationship with the site has improved, and his $50 million contract request to join Kick seems too rich for emerging streaming service.
