Canadian rap star Drake is responding to Andrew Tate after the controversial ‘Hustler University’ founder criticized Canadian men in a viral clip.
Drake is about to release his latest album, ‘For All the Dogs’ – an album that has received mixed reviews from listeners so far.
However, his fans weren’t the only ones campaigning to criticize Drizzy. The rapper, and in fact all Canadian men, faced some backlash from Andrew Tate after the former kickboxer explained why he doesn’t think Canadian guys are very manly .
Tate opined on the subject in an episode of his podcast, where he mimed a conversation between himself and a hypothetical Canadian guy.
“Imagine you’re from Canada. Imagine saying I am a man. ‘From where?’ ‘From Canada.’ What? That doesn’t go together. ‘What do you talking about? Wait. You are a man? From Canada?’ Are not. It can not be. ‘No, no, I’m a man.’ No, man. Of course not. There are no men in Canada. Just kidding.”

Clearly an ‘alpha male’ like Tate doesn’t think the guys from Canada live up to his idea of masculinity… and it seems Drake isn’t too happy with his opinion on the matter this topic.
The rapper came across an episode of Tate’s podcast on Instagram, where he responded by writing “green light” in a comment, along with a laughing emoji.

In common slang, “green light” means to impress someone or warn people that it is ‘open season’ for a person or group to respond to some perceived slight. see.
It’s more likely that Drake was just joking thanks to the emoji – but his candid comment sparked a huge conversation online between Drake and Tate fans.
This is also not the first time these two stars interacted online. Earlier this year, Tate shared his thoughts on Drake’s pink nail polish, saying in a tweet: “There’s a reason I refuse to meet all the celebrities trying to meet me.”
